<p><a title="amerind museum" href="http://www.amerind.org" target="_blank"><strong>Amerind Museum:</strong>  </a></p>
<p>Museum of Archaeological, ethnographic exhibits of Native American cultures. Art gallery, museum shop, scenic picnic area in Texas Canyon. Open year-round Tues.-Sun. 10a.m.-4p.m.; closed Mon./major holidays. $8/adults; $7/seniors 60 and over; $5 children 12-18, and active military/with ID and under 12 free. We offer docent group tour rates as well as pre-ordered boxed lunches. We also have many educational opportunities for school field trips. <p><strong>Arizona History Museum</strong></p>
<p>The <a title="Arizona Historical Society" href="http://www.arizonahistoricalsociety.org" target="_blank">Arizona History Museum’s</a> focus is southern Arizona history from Spanish colonial through territorial eras. Exhibit topics include mining and transportation. The Arizona’s Treasures exhibit features Geronimo’s rifle and 18th-century Spanish silver artifacts.</p>
<p><strong>Arizona State Museum</strong></p>
<p>Experience the enduring cultures of Arizona, the American Southwest, and northern Mexico at <a title="Arizona State Museum" href="http:///www.statemuseum.arizona.edu" target="_blank">Arizona State Museum </a>through dynamic exhibitions, engaging programs and an educational museum store. Arizona State Museum is the oldest and largest anthropology museum in the region (est. 1893), home of the world’s largest collection of Southwest American Indian pottery, and an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution.</p>
<p><strong>Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum</strong></p>

Exhibits re-create the natural landscape of the Sonoran Desert Region so realistically you find yourself eye-to-eye with mountain lions, prairie dogs, Gila monsters, and more. <p><strong>Center for Creative Photography</strong></p>
<p>The <a title="center for creative photography" href="http://www.creativephotography.org" target="_blank">Center for Creative Photography</a> is one of the world’s leading museums of modern American photography, and is dedicated to advancing creative thinking and lively discussion. Changing exhibitions feature the work of America’s greatest photographers drawn from the Center’s collections of over 90,000 photographs. Among the artists represented are Edward Weston, Ansel Adams, Harry Callahan, Aaron Siskind, Lola Alvarez Bravo, Gary Winogrand, Richard Avedon,Louise Dahl-Wolfe, and W. Eugene Smith. The work of new photographers is also regularly exhibited. The Center is located on the campus of the University of Arizona and admission is free</p>
<p><strong>Museum of Contemporary Art</strong></p>
<p>Founded in 1997, <a title="moca tucson" href="http://www.moca-tucson.org" target="_blank">MOCA </a>exhibits the work of avant-garde contemporary artists with several temporary exhibitions each year, some solo exhibitions, and some thematic group exhibitions. The museum offers a variety of education and outreach lectures and events designed to educate the community about issues and ideas in contemporary art. MOCA is Tucson’s only public institution devoted exclusively to the art of our time.</p>

<p>Located on the East Frontage Road between Tubac and Tumacácori (look for the giant chicken statues out front), this roadside diner is a Santa Cruz Valley institution that has been in business since 1944.</p>
<p>The menu includes some twists on standard Mexican fare, including tostadas, tacos, and enchiladas made with turkey. Save room for this Wisdom&#8217;s main draw – huge, fried fruit burritos that are basically Mexican fruit pies rolled in a tortilla.</p>

<p>The Cow Palace was established upon the site of an old general store in the days of Otho Kinsley, who established the Kinsley Ranch in 1920. He became famous for furnishing bucking horses and Brahma bulls to the now famous Fiesta de Los Vaqueros Rodeo.</p>
